Deep Sky Objects

Deep sky objects are probably the most difficult targets to photograph, since many are diffuse and often dim, but they can be the most beautiful.

Now that the telescopes are permanently mounted and have been accurately polar-aligned, long exposure photography is possible, using one of the scopes to guide the other one.  This makes theoretically unlimited exposures possible, though the light pollution levels of my region limit this to a practical maximum of about 5 minutes or so.
